The VAT increase has been scrapped! South African finanace minister Enoch Godongwana has announced the cancellation of the VAT increase and everyone is taking credit for it. The likes of Action SA's Herman Mashaba claim they did it, Helen Zille and the EFF claim it was their court case, even the ANC claim they stopped the VAT increase.
